I passed my exams and I'm turning my assignment in tomorrow morning!

I'm so happy!!! I passed both my written exams - and did better than I thought I would, so it's fantastic! Got a 10 in patophysiology and a 7 in farmacology! I can't wait to go out and celebrate with Klaus tonight :-) I'll get back to you later....
(I have put the heart on the frontpage of my assignment. I have written about heart patients with hypercholesterolemia...and how the nurse can help them to maintain a lasting cholesterol lowering diet)

Almost done with my big assignment!

I have spent the last 3 weeks in my apartment with my computer.... reading and writing the day away! It has been tough, mostly because I feel that this assignment is my LIFE at the moment. I have my last guidance tomorrow and hopefully I won't be told to redo what I just wrote.... The assignment is due on Friday and my goal is to be done Thurday night. Thursday I will get my exam results from the two exams I had in the beginning of January, I think I did well. Klaus and I want to celebrate that I have made it through a month of exams and assignment writing so we're going out for dinner. We just want to be boyfriend and girlfriend for a night - we have both been looking forward to that for a while now.

I start my 10 week psychiatric internship on Monday and I'm really excited about that. And Klaus and I are going skiing in Norway with my parents and brothers in February as well - so I have a few things to look forward to!

New Years Eve 2008!

Toasting at midnight. Klaus actually doesn't look like he's feeling too bad here, but he was hurting....

Me, Anne Marie and Line.

Before dinner...

The traditional "kransekage" that Danes like to eat on special occassions like New Years, blessings etc. I am actually a little proud because I made it myself this year.

Klaus and I spent New Year's at my friend Line's. We were just 6 people, so it was quiet and cozy. I think I'm starting to get a little too old to party all the time. Probably because I don't do it very much anymore, so the hangovers are really bad when I occasionally do... ;-)

I had been sick after Christmas and was just starting to get over my flu that day, Klaus hadn't had it...but was so unfortunate to get sick New Year's eve. He had a little dinner and then he had to borrow Line and Lasse's bed. He slept there with the dog for a while, and I just managed to get him up at midnight to see the fireworks. Then he kept himself awake for a few hours and we drove home. I felt so bad for him, because he really never is sick! Poor thing.
We promised ourself that we would have extra much fun in 2009, and hopefully none of us will be sick...

Eja and the Christmas bear!

Just had to post this picture. Our cat Eja loved cuddling with the Christmas bear. She is so dang cute!

Christmas 2008!

Such a beautiful tree!

Christmas lunch with my parents and brothers.

I know I'm a little slow... but here are some pictures from our Christmas in 2008! Here in Denmark the big day is Christmas night on 24th Dec. Klaus and I went to my parents and had lunch, my grandparents also showed up for coffee before we headed back to Vejle, where we live. Then we spent Christmas night at Klaus' sister Kristine's house. She has a big family with four lovely kids, Klaus and Kristine's brother Kristian and their dad Finn were there too. We had such a great night, and it was lots of fun to see the kids get so excited about Christmas!
