Visit from Down Under and exciting plans for the summer!

The family I stayed with in Australia has been traveling around Europe this summer and they came by Denmark for a couple of days. It was wonderful to see them - the kids had grown and they we're all so happy. I spent the days with them, showed them my home in Vejle, Odense, HC Andersen's house, the old village and we stayed the night at my parents where we enjoyed great food and great company ;-)

We would love to visit them in Australia some day.

Klaus and I have made exciting plans for this summer though - we are heading to the states. We are attending my hostbrother Brandon's wedding and visiting my friends in Washington. We are so excited about this trip and can't wait!

Weekend trip to Northern Denmark

Last weekend Klaus and I headed up north to the tip of Denmark. We stayed in Klaus' sister's beach house and had a wonderful time. The weather was great, so we BBQ'ed and went on walks and drives. We visited Klaus' father for dinner on Sunday. It was great to see him. We really didn't feel like heading home and starting work again!
