Spring / Summer Update

Finally - a new blog update!

So it's been months since I last published anything on my blog... I must say I am a little bit ashamed of that, since I love reading my friends' blogs - and they are all very active bloggers!

This semester I have been in two internships - first I was at the psychiatric ward at the hospital for 10 weeks and I just finished 10 weeks at the oncological ward. Really exciting places, but it has been a very hard semester - I have met so many very sick people and seen life at it's end. But I have learned so much - not only about nursing, but also about life and myself. I feel that I have grown a little bit, a great feeling. I feel more and more ready to become a nurse and get out there and try to do some good.

Klaus and I also have a new project now - HOUSE. We have been looking around for a suited house for a while now. We live in a great apartment in the city but we are longing for more space and our own garden and garage. And it would be great to have it all to ourselves so we don't have to take our neightbours into consideration all the time. We are still looking and not in a hurry - we want to find a great place.

We also attended a birthday party for a couple of my old friends from Fyn. Camilla and Peter both turned 25 and threw a costume party - also so much fun!

My 25th Birthday

We have been very busy - in the spring I had my 25th birthday and we threw a party for friends and family - I had so much fun. The party went on until dawn, and we were busted the next morning. I was feeling a tat better than Klaus so I had to get out of bed and clean up after the party... it was really hard work, luckily I got help from my sweet cousin Helle.

The weather is finally better and we are enjoying it. We go for lots of walks, have ice creams and take the cats out for strolls :-D

Now we are looking forward to the rest of the summer and are hoping to go on vacation in August.
