New Years Eve 2010!

Happy New Year!
We had friends over for a lovely dinner. Tue, Klaus' childhood buddy, and his girlfriend Nadia came from Copenhagen. And Søren, one of our great friends, who has just returned from Afghanistan, also joined us. Later that evening our friends Jens Ole and Malene also joined the party. We really had a great time and so much fun. There was lots of firework in the streets. We have had a great year 2010 - both of us got new jobs, that we both love. I am sure 2011 will be even greater. A new house! We can't wait to get out of the apartment and move into a brand new big house. Hopefully this summer. We hope you all have a great year 2011!
Pictures will follow.

Christmas 2010

Kristine, Klaus' sister, did a wonderful job decorating. The Christmas table was beautiful.

Klaus with his brother Kristian and his dad Finn.

The view from our apartment. Very Snowy.

Me, Christmas Eve

Klaus and I, Christmas Eve

We celebrated Christmas with Klaus's family this year. It is now a tradition that we alternate and spent Christmas eve with my parents every other year and with Klaus' the other. On the 23rd we visited my parents and had a lovely dinner - my brothers and their girlfriends were also there. We had a great time. We almost didn't make it there because of very snowy weather. But I can surely say that we saved my mom's Christmas this year :-)
I had to work on the 24th but still got to celebrate Christmas with Klaus and his family. We had a wonderful Christmas dinner with pork roast, sweet potatoes, white potatoes, gravy and red cabbage..... YUM. And of course the traditional rice dessert with the one whole almond. Klaus of course got the almond as he also did last year and the year before :-)
The kids were fun to watch - they really had a great night and got many great gifts.
Merry Christmas
